We are looking for a skillful IT project manager to lead a team & the project in Zimbabwe. This is a contract position with an opportunity to continue mutual collaboration after successful project implementation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Organize the implementation of information system development;
- Create and implement project definitions, plans, budgets, and objectives for IT projects, starting from sales phase;
- Manage project teams, tasks and resources, as well as the work quality;
- Forecast the needs for additional qualifications and resources required for the project;
- Manage project risks, ensure timely risk identification and escalation;
- Manage relationship with vendors, contractors and other parties by acting as the central point of contact;
- Perform continuous assessments of project progress, team performance;
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics;
- Ensure that the project will be delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
- Take ownership and full responsibility for projects success and achieving the goals;
WHAT WE EXPECT:
- University degree – preferably in IT, mathematics or business administration;
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.);
- 5+ years of project management experience;
- Experience working with the public sector and multi-cultural teams;
- Ability to effectively communicate with your team, clients and managers, as well as to organize and optimize areas of work in a changing environment;
- Strong teamwork, organizational, prioritization, negotiation, problem-solving, presentation and time management skills;
- Project management certificates would be an advantage;
- Excellent English language proficiency (verbal, written)

Monthly salary: 3000-4900 Eur gross, however, we are open to discuss different salary based on your skills & competences
