Challenge

The Government of Uzbekistan was undertaking efforts to modernize its real property registration and cadastre system in order to realize the economic and social benefits of up-to-date accessible information for future development. The project’s objective was to establish an efficient and accessible real property registration and cadastre system in the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the national eGovernment structure and services.

Solution

The overall objective of the consultancy was to specify the Integrated Information System for Real Property Registration and Cadastre system and software architecture, including technical specifications for hardware and software necessary for the System deployment. Following Uzbekistan’s ICT policy, strategy, relevant international standards (ISO/IEC/IEEE 42010, ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148, ISO/TC211, ISO 19152), as well as relevant technological standards and best practices in designing and implementing modern, Web-based information systems.
