INVL Technology managed company Norway Registers Development AS (NRD AS), part of NRD group – global information technology and consulting group of companies specialized in governance and economic digital infrastructure development, has established a subsidiary entity in Kigali. Norway Registers Development Rwanda Ltd. (NRD Rwanda) was registered on 22 February 2016.
“NRD group has been successfully implementing projects in Rwanda for the last 10 years. This investment is the next rational step in a rapidly growing, tech-savvy country. Furthermore, Rwanda is steadily moving towards implementation of the SMART Rwanda Program, and we see great potential for expanding our operations in this country. NRD Rwanda will offer full portfolio of NRD group and other INVL Technology businesses’ services. In addition, backing the regional export strategy of Rwanda, it might also participate in projects in Burundi and Democratic Republic of the Congo”, commented Mr Rimantas Zylius, Managing Director of Norway Registers Development AS.
According to him, NRD Rwanda will attract and combine the know-how of NRD group in the fields of business climate improvement and e-governance, smart IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital platforms for finance sector, and advance these competences in the country.
Mr Tomas Seikus has been appointed the Chairman of the Board of NRD Rwanda, Mr Rimantas Zylius – Member of the Board. Mr Ephrem Bizimana – an experienced IT professional and businessman, a partner of NRD group for many years – has been appointed the Managing Director of the company.
