Lithuanian information system development and project delivery company NRD has a new Director – Mr Andrius Kaikaris, serving since 18 October 2017. He has replaced the former Director of the company Mr Alvydas Arnoldas Šidlauskas. NRD Systems is a member of NRD Companies – a global information technology and consulting group of companies.
„We are grateful to the previous Director for his work and contribution to the results of the company. Under his management, the company established itself as a reliable information system developer in Lithuania, and developed information systems in such countries as Rwanda, Mauritius, Liberia and other – this had a significant effect on business climate improvement and red tape reduction in these countries”, commented NRD Chairman of the Board Mr Rimantas Žylius.
According to him, currently the company is entering a new period where integration with other members of NRD Companies is becoming even more important. „We believe that the experience of the new Director will enable us to utilise the benefits provided by the synergies in the group even better“, said Mr. Žylius.
An important strategic direction of NRD Companies is provision of technologies and consulting services for public sector reform implementation in frontier markets of Sub-Saharan Africa as well as South and Southeast Asia – by applying technologies tried and tested in Northern Europe as well as the experience of public sector institutions in Norway, Lithuania and other countries in Northern Europe.

Mr Kaikaris has joined NRD Companies’ managing company Norway Registers Development AS in May 2016. Since the beginning of this year, Mr Kaikaris served as Project Director at the company.
The new Director of NRD has eighteen years’ of work experience, he has participated in national and international projects with Lithuanian Armed Forces and NATO, and he also served in Lithuanian Naval Force. Mr Kaikaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from United States Naval Academy, and he continued his studies at U. S. Naval War College.
